We are based at 16, Dipan Apartment in the Bhaikakanagar area of Thaltej. Ahmedabad is a fast city, but our spot here is tucked away a bit. Het-Chint Hospitalities Pvt. Ltd. is basically about taking care of people’s needs when they are traveling or staying somewhere. We handle the management side of things from this office. Dipan Apartment isn’t some massive hotel itself, it is just where we coordinate the bookings and the staff and the food supplies. It is a lot of phone calls to vendors and checking on maintenance schedules. Sometimes things go wrong, like a pipe leaking or a booking getting mixed up, and we have to fix it fast. That’s just how the hospitality business is. Our office is simple, just some chairs and filing cabinets and a few desks. We have been in Thaltej for a while now and we like the location because it is easy to get to other parts of Ahmedabad from here. The 380059 area is growing quickly. We spend our mornings going through emails and our afternoons usually involve a lot of shouting across the room to get things done. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the paperwork but we know where everything is. We don’t have a receptionist or anything, you just come in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a practical way to run things and it works for us. Ahmedabad is where we call home.
