Gurunanak Crane Service

Gurunanak Crane Service is based out of the Swecha Cooperative Housing Society in Vatva. Specifically, we are at number 187, near Murlidhar No. 3. The landmark everyone uses to find us is the Gebanshapir. Since we deal with cranes, our day usually starts pretty early before the traffic gets too bad in the Vatva area. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the machines are where they need to be. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more of a home-base setup where we handle the calls and the scheduling. The yard where we keep things can get pretty muddy when it rains, and there is always the smell of grease and diesel around. We spend a lot of time on our phones talking to drivers or checking on where a job is at. A lot of what we do is straightforward. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. Most of our days are spent worrying about maintenance or whether a specific road is wide enough for our equipment. People in the society know us because of the big yellow machines that move in and out. Navigating through the local streets is a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, but we manage it. We’ve been doing this from this location for quite some time now. It’s a practical way to live and work, even if it gets a bit messy and loud sometimes. The neighbors are used to us by now.
