Akshar International

Akshar International is located out on Nikol Gam Road. The address is Plot No. 74, Ramnagar. It’s near the Po Thakkar Nagar area. This part of town has changed quite a bit over the years. We remember when there were fewer buildings and more open space. Now it’s quite built up with shops and houses. We do international trade work from here. It sounds more complicated than it is. Mostly it’s just a lot of paperwork and phone calls to make sure things get from one place to another on time. The office is pretty standard. Desks, chairs, some old files stacked in the corner. We don’t have a receptionist or a lobby for visitors. If someone walks in, they just talk to whoever is sitting closest to the door. We spend a lot of time looking at shipping schedules and talking to customs people. The road outside can get quite dusty when the trucks go by. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we just take a break and go outside until it comes back on. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. We like being in Ramnagar because it feels like a real community. You get to know the other business owners on the street. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work properly and go home at the end of the day.
