Gujarat Hotel

Our hotel is located in the Sneha Complex in Mirzapur. It’s right near where the old Jansatta Press used to be, which is a landmark most people in Ahmedabad still remember. The area is quite busy with all sorts of trade and small businesses. We have been here for a good while, and the building shows its age in some spots, but it’s solid. We spend most of our time at the front desk or checking on the rooms. It’s not a fancy place with a lobby full of flowers. It’s just a place for people to stay while they are in the city for work or family stuff. The street outside is usually a mess of scooters and cars, and the noise doesn't really stop until late at night. We have a few staff members who have been with us for years, and we’re more like a small family than a company. We don't have a website that takes bookings or anything like that. People just call us or walk in off the street. We keep a handwritten ledger for the rooms. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the steps and wait for it to come back. It’s a slow and steady kind of business. We just try to keep the rooms clean and the guests satisfied without making a big fuss. It’s just how things are around here in this part of town.
