Gcs Medical is situated right on Naroda Road. It’s one of those long, busy stretches of road in Ahmedabad where there is always something happening. We’ve been here for some time now. The shop is a simple setup. We have our counters and our rows of medicines behind us. It’s a bit noisy with the trucks and buses constantly passing by, but that’s Naroda Road for you. We don’t have a big fancy office; it’s just the shop floor where all the work happens. Most of our day is spent answering questions and filling orders. People come from the surrounding residential blocks and some of the industrial areas nearby too. We try to keep a wide range of stuff because you never know what someone might need. Some days the heat is a bit much, but we have our fans going and we just keep at it. It’s a very straightforward business. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the flashiest. We just want to be reliable. When someone is sick, they want their medicine without any fuss, and that’s what we try to provide. We know the local doctors and the regular patients quite well. It’s a community where people look out for each other, and we’re glad to be a small part of that. No big speeches, just daily work on Naroda Road. We stay open as long as there are people needing help.
