Gayatri Earthmovers

If you know where the Highway Mall is in Chandkheda, then you’ve probably passed by Gayatri Earthmovers at Plot No.225-A. We are situated right near the Bus Sand, so it’s always loud and there is plenty of movement around here. Having the shop so close to the highway makes it easier to get our equipment out to different sites without getting stuck in too much local traffic, though the area near the Bus Sand gets pretty clogged up in the afternoons. We spend most of our time coordinating where the machines need to go and making sure the operators are ready for the day's tasks. The office is just a practical space where we handle the daily grind. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction and vehicles going by, but that’s just life in this part of town. We’ve been operating from this spot for a while, and we’ve seen Chandkheda change quite a bit with all the new buildings popping up. Our work is mostly about digging and shifting dirt for whatever project is happening nearby. It’s hard work and the hours can be long, especially when a project is behind schedule. The bus drivers sometimes stop in to ask for directions or just to escape the sun for a minute. It makes for an interesting day when you never know who's going to walk through the door of the mall. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just see our machines out on the road or find us by the station.
