Fesch

Fesch is located over at A/2 in Karmacharinagar- Part- One, which is in the Ghatlodiya area. It is a fairly quiet spot if you compare it to the big markets in Ahmedabad. We have a small unit here where we work on different types of clothing. It is mostly a lot of cutting, sewing, and checking the finish on garments. We started this because we liked the idea of making clothes that actually fit right and look decent for regular people. There is no big office or anything. It is just a workspace with tables and sewing machines. Sometimes the power goes out in the middle of a big order, and we just have to sit and wait it out. That is just how things go here. We get our fabric from various suppliers and sometimes the colors are slightly off from what we expected, so we have to adjust. We do not use any fancy language to describe our work. We just make clothes. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually when we take our breaks and talk about what needs to be done next. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock lying around, but we manage to keep it moving. We are not some big famous brand you see in the mall. We are just a local business trying to do things properly every day.
