Etc Creatives

Our little spot is at 56, Mahatma Gandhikunj Society. It’s a decent area in Ahmedabad, and we’ve been here for a good while. We call ourselves Etc Creatives, though mostly we’re just a bunch of people who like making things and solving problems. The office is inside a residential-style society, so it feels more like a house than a workplace sometimes. We have some desks set up and plenty of coffee mugs lying around. It’s not a shiny agency with glass walls. We prefer it this way because it’s quiet enough to actually think. People usually drop by when they need something designed or put together. We don't have a big reception area or a secretary. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. There are books and papers scattered everywhere, which shows we’re actually working. Ahmedabad can get hot, so we’re thankful for the shade around the society. We don’t really do big advertising for ourselves; we just focus on the work that comes our way. It’s a simple setup. We take things as they come and try to do a solid job every time. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and other times we head out early if things are slow. It’s just us doing what we know how to do in our own way.
