You can find our setup at No. 368 A/ B in the Hindustan Ware House, right on the Narol Isanpur Highway. Being across from Mahalxmi Fabrics Mills makes us pretty easy to locate if you’re driving along that stretch. This area is full of textile mills and big warehouses, so there’s always a lot of dust and heavy trucks moving around. We work on fashion wear that’s meant for export. The warehouse is a huge space, and it can get quite cold in the winter and very hot when the sun hits the roof in May. We spend a lot of our time packing boxes and making sure the labels are all correct for shipping. There’s a lot of checking and re-checking involved because once these things leave the highway, they have a long way to travel. The staff here are used to the fast pace. We don't have much of a decorated office; it’s mostly just desks pushed together near the front door. We keep a kettle in the corner for making tea, which is pretty much essential when we’re staying late to finish a big shipment. The highway is always humming with traffic, and sometimes it feels like the whole building shakes when a big trailer goes past. It’s just the way things are in this part of town. We keep our heads down and get the garments sorted and packed every single day.
