We are located at B-14 in Zaveri Estate, which sits right on the Singarva-Kathwada Road. It is a pretty busy spot and you can always hear the trucks rumbling past the front gate. Eie Instruments Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this building for a good while now. Inside, the space is mostly filled with various tools and benches where we work on the instruments. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, as there is always some dust from the road or a bit of grease on the tables. My own desk is usually a mess of blueprinted papers and half-eaten biscuits. We don't really have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If someone comes by, they usually just walk straight into the work area and find one of us. We spend a lot of our time just checking gauges and making sure things are lined up right. It can be tedious work, but we are used to it by now. The tea lady comes by twice a day and that is usually when we take our only real breaks. Kathwada has changed a lot since we first got here, with more buildings going up every year. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation; we just want to get the orders done and go home to our families at the end of the day.
