Our office is located on the second floor of the 3rd Eye Vision building, right over on IIM Road. If you are familiar with the area, we are just opposite Shivalik Plaza. It is a busy part of Ahmedabad, and we are right in the middle of it. We spend most of our time dealing with international education plans and all the visa paperwork that goes along with that. It is a lot of back and forth with different offices and making sure all the boxes are ticked. Students come in quite often, usually looking a bit stressed about their applications or where they should go. We just sit down with them and go through the options. There is no big secret to what we do; it is just about knowing the rules and keeping things organized. The office gets quite a lot of light in the afternoons, which is nice. We have a few desks and a lot of cabinets filled with files. Every day brings someone new with a different dream of studying somewhere else. We listen to their stories and try to sort out the documents they need. It is practical work. We are not doing anything fancy, just helping people navigate the system which can be pretty confusing if you are doing it alone. Being near Panjrapole makes it a convenient spot for people to drop by after their classes or work. We just keep our heads down and handle the paperwork as it comes in.
