A Paheli Selection

Our shop is G 27 in the Satyam building. We are right across from Kirtisagar Tower and not far from Prernatirth Mandir. It’s a good location in the Satellite area of Jodhpur. We’ve been here for a while and have seen many other shops come and go. A Paheli Selection is where we keep our collection of clothes and various fabrics. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. When it’s festival season, the shop gets really crowded and things can get a bit messy on the shelves. We don't have a team of professional decorators or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers. We spend a lot of time talking to customers and helping them find what they are looking for. It’s a very personal business. We know many of our customers by name because they live in the nearby apartments. We don't have a big corporate strategy. We just try to have a good variety of things available. The Satyam building is a familiar landmark for people around here. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening rush is over. It’s a simple life running a shop in this part of town. We are just local people providing something for the community and keeping the shop running.
