We spend most of our time down here at Shed No 2 in the Rudraksh Complex. It's right across from the Annapurna Hotel near Tikampura Patiya. If you know Vatva Gidc, you know it gets pretty busy around Phase 3. Most days the shop is covered in sawdust because we’re usually right in the middle of a project. We started doing Drasti Wood Crafts a while back because we just like working with our hands. It isn't a fancy setup. It’s just a workspace where we get things done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets loud, but we’re used to it by now. People usually find us by looking for the hotel first since the shed is tucked back a bit. We don't have a big office or a front desk with a secretary. It’s mostly just us handling the wood and making sure things look right before they head out. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer months, but that's just how it is working in an industrial area like this. We try to keep things organized, though that’s easier said than done when you have piles of timber everywhere. We’ve been at this location for a bit and the neighbors are alright. Mostly, we just focus on the pieces we're building and hope the electricity stays steady. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Nothing more to it than that.
