I run my business, Dj Ravi Shah, from my place at I 101 Shakuntal Apartment in Isanpur. It is right near Ramwadi, which most people in this part of Ahmedabad know. The zip code here is 382443. I have lived in Isanpur for a long time, so it made sense to set up my work here too. It is not a fancy studio with soundproofing on every wall, but it is where I keep all my gear and plan out my sets. My neighbors are pretty used to seeing me load and unload my speakers and cables into the car. Sometimes I am leaving late at night or coming back when the sun is just starting to come up. That is just how the DJ life goes. I do not spend a lot of time on fancy advertising. Most of my work comes from people who have seen me play at a wedding or a party and then ask for my number. It is a very local way of doing things. I spend my afternoons checking my equipment and making sure everything is working right because you cannot have things breaking down in the middle of a show. It is just me doing what I enjoy. I try to be straightforward with people about what I can do and what songs I have. It is a practical business, and I like being my own boss here in Isanpur. Shakuntal Apartment is a good home for me and my music. It works out well enough for everyone.
