Our place, Divya Packaging, is out at No. 99, Karnavati Estate. If you know the Odhav - Vastral Ring Road, we are easy enough to find because we are right behind the Royal Restaurant. It’s a handy location since the restaurant is a popular spot for people to stop and eat. Being on the ring road means there is a lot of heavy traffic and trucks passing by at all hours. Karnavati Estate is a large area with many different units, and we are just one part of that big mix. Our unit is a practical space where we handle all our packaging work. It’s a big open room with a high ceiling, which helps keep it from getting too stuffy during the afternoon heat. We spend most of our time organizing the materials and getting things ready for transport. The noise from the ring road is always there, like a constant hum in the background that we’ve stopped noticing. We don’t have a fancy office upstairs; we just work from the main floor where everything is happening. It’s an honest, straightforward setup. We like being in Odhav because it’s connected to everything else in the city. People often stop by after eating at the Royal Restaurant if they need to check on something. We just keep things simple and focus on the day’s work. There is always something that needs packing or loading.
