Down here in Village Rakanpur, things are a bit slower than in the big cities. We are located at Block Number 813 in the Ta-Kalol area. It is a good spot because we have plenty of room for all the packaging materials and the big equipment we need for the business. Most of the people who work here live nearby in the village, so we all know each other and their families. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you’re coming from the city, but we like the space and the quiet. We spend our days cutting, folding, and gluing different types of boxes and containers. It can get a bit monotonous, but there is a certain rhythm to it that I enjoy. The warehouse usually has high stacks of cardboard waiting to be processed into orders. In the winter it gets quite chilly in the mornings before the sun hits the metal roof, but we just wear extra layers and keep going. We don't really have a sales department or anything. If someone needs packaging, they usually find their way to Rakanpur or they give us a call. We just try to make sure the dimensions are correct and the glue holds together. It’s practical work. Sometimes a stray dog wanders into the yard, and we give it some water. It’s just that kind of place. We keep moving, one pallet at a time, and make sure the trucks are packed.
