Diva Tradition

You can find us over at 6/A in the Motiram Bhikhabhai Colony. We are right across from the Natubhai Apartments, so it's a pretty easy landmark if you're coming from the main part of Ishwarbhuvan. Jogger’S Park is also just a short walk away, which is nice in the evenings when people are out for their walks. Diva Tradition is basically just us doing what we love with clothes and traditional wear. It’s not a big mall store. We have a small space where we keep our collections. Sometimes the place gets a bit crowded with boxes and new hangers, but we manage. We like the neighborhood because it’s quiet compared to the market areas. Most of our visitors are people living nearby or friends of friends. We don't do big sales or use loud speakers to get attention. People just come in, look at the stuff, and we chat while they decide. It’s a relaxed atmosphere. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the colors are right. It’s just me and a couple of others helping out. We keep the doors open and usually have some music playing softly in the background. It feels more like a home than a shop sometimes. We’ve been in this spot for a bit and we like how the light comes in through the front window in the afternoon. It makes the fabrics look nice.
