Dimple Polymers

We are tucked away in the Sharda Industrial Estate at 16A, which is over by the Pikers Factory’s Chawl on Anil Starch Road. It’s a busy industrial pocket where everyone is usually in a hurry. The estate itself is older, and you can see that in the way the buildings are clustered together. Inside our space at Dimple Polymers, it’s mostly about the polymers. We have machines running and stacks of plastic materials waiting to be moved. It’s a bit noisy, and the air has that distinct smell of industrial processing, but we don’t mind it much anymore. The chawl nearby means there are always people moving around, and the road stays clogged with rickshaws and delivery vans. Our office is just a small partitioned corner with a few chairs and a desk that’s usually covered in invoices and samples. It gets pretty warm in the summer months, and the metal roof doesn't help, so we mostly keep the big doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through the estate. We aren't trying to be anything fancy here. We just focus on the daily tasks of getting the materials processed and sent out to the clients. It’s a hands-on kind of job, and most of us end the day with a bit of grime on our hands. It’s a practical, hardworking atmosphere where nobody really stands on ceremony or wears a suit.
