Devi Airconditioning Engineering

Our workshop is over in the Adarsh-II Industrial Estate in Odhav. Specifically, we’re at A-52 D-29, which is just behind the Ashish Manglam Cinema. It’s an easy landmark for people to find. Devi Airconditioning Engineering has been in this area for a good while. The industrial estate is always full of activity, with people moving parts and machines around. We spend most of our time fixing units or putting together new systems. It’s dirty work sometimes, with all the dust and insulation. The shop floor is usually covered in tools and copper pipes. We have a small office area where we handle the billing and calls. It’s not very big, but it serves its purpose. The heat in Odhav can be intense, which is ironic considering we work on air conditioning. We often have the radio playing in the background while we work. The team is small, and we’ve all been working together for years. We aren't interested in sounding corporate; we just want to make sure the cooling systems we work on are solid. There’s a lot of manual labor involved. Sometimes we have to go out on site, but a lot happens right here in the shop. We try to keep things moving so the customers aren't waiting too long. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in a busy industrial part of town.
