Renu Garments

Renu Garments is tucked away in the Banglori Textile Compound in the Danilimda area. It is right opposite the New Dhor Bazar and near the Chhipa Kui landmark. If you have not been here before, it might take you a minute to find the right turn because there are so many compounds around this part of town. The area is full of textile work and there are always trucks loading and unloading in the middle of the street. Our space is just a basic room where we keep our stock and do our work. It gets quite hot in the summer because the building does not have much ventilation. We usually keep the big doors open to catch any breeze we can from the alley. We have been in Danilimda for a long time. It is a hardworking part of town. You will not see any fancy showrooms here, just people getting things done. We spend a lot of our time counting stock and packing up bundles. The noise from the New Dhor Bazar across the way is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We do not have a big corporate story to tell. We are just a small outfit. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing. We share a laugh with the security guard at the gate and drink chai from the stall at the corner. It is just a normal, everyday job for us.
