Damji Hotel

We are located over in Nirnaynagar, specifically in Sector 7/B. Our spot is H/5 right on Chandlodiya Road. It's a local area in Ahmedabad and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a good while. Running a hotel means we are always on our feet. It isn't a five-star place with gold curtains, just a clean and honest spot for people to stay. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are ready and talking to the guests who come through. The road outside can get a bit dusty and loud, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We handle everything ourselves, from the front desk to checking the kitchen. It’s a family-style operation mostly. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. People usually find us because they need a place to sleep that doesn't cost a fortune. We know a lot of the regulars who stay here when they are in town for work. It’s a simple life. We wake up early, get the tea going, and start the day. The building is older but we keep it functional. It’s just a regular hotel on a regular street in Ahmedabad, and we are fine with that. We don't try to be something we aren't. Most nights we are just making sure the front gate is locked and everyone is settled in. It's just how we do things here.
