Compressor Point

You can find us at Compressor Point inside the Ellis Bridge Shopping Centre. We are in shop number 46. It is right across from the Town Hall on Ashram Road. It is a very busy part of the city so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. We have been in this same spot for a good number of years now. Like the name says, we mostly deal with all kinds of compressors. People come to see us when their air conditioners stop blowing cold air or when their industrial units fail. We have all sorts of parts and tools lying around the shop floor. It might look a bit disorganized to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where every bolt and valve is kept. The shop is not very large, so we have to use every bit of space we have. Ashram Road is always moving fast and we try our best to keep up with it. Most of our customers are local mechanics or people running small businesses who need a part fixed quickly. We spend a lot of our time on the phone checking on prices or seeing when a delivery will arrive. It is a lot of manual work and we often get our hands dirty with oil and metal. Sometimes the lights flicker when we are testing a large motor. That is just how things are here. We just stay at the counter and help people.
