Club Mahindra Holiday World

We've been here at Alok Apartment for quite a while now. It’s right across from Gandhi Park Society and near the Ambamata Temple in Maninagar. The office is usually busy. People walk in all the time. Sometimes the traffic outside near the temple gets a bit much, especially on festival days, but we like the energy of the area. Ahmedabad is hot most of the year, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It’s just a regular spot where we handle bookings and talk to people about their holidays. My desk faces the window, so I see the park visitors coming and going. It’s a local place. Nothing fancy. We have some chairs for people to sit while we sort out the paperwork. The apartment building is a bit old, but it’s easy for anyone to find. Most people know the landmark of the temple nearby. We keep things pretty simple here. We’ve got some files, a couple of computers, and some old maps on the wall. It’s just how we run things day to day for Club Mahindra Holiday World. Sometimes the neighbor from upstairs drops by for a quick chat about the weather. That’s just the vibe in Maninagar. We spend most of our morning setting things up and then wait for the phone to ring or someone to knock on the door. It’s been our base for a long time and the walls could use a bit of paint, but it feels okay. We have tea around 4 pm every day. It is a practical spot for work.
