Choice Medical And Provision Stor

Down in Thaltej, things used to be much quieter than they are now. We have our shop here, Choice Medical and Provision Stor. It is a bit of a mix of everything. We have the medicines on one side and the daily provisions on the other side. It keeps us on our toes because people come in for all sorts of stuff throughout the day. One minute I am looking for a specific tablet and the next I am weighing out some pulses for a neighbor. It is a bit of a juggle. The Thaltej area has changed a lot since we first started. There are more cars now and many more houses. Our shop is not very large at all. We have to stack things quite high on the shelves. Sometimes a bag of flour sits right next to a box of bandages. That is just how we manage the space we have available. My son helps out in the evenings after he finishes his classes. We have a wooden counter that has gone smooth over the years from all the coins and hands. There is a stray dog that sits outside the door most days. We give him some biscuits every now and then. Rain is the worst because the water pools a bit near the entrance. We have to use a mop every ten minutes when that happens. It is just a neighborhood store. We are not trying to be anything big. We just provide what the local people need and go about our business day by day.
