Chatako Hotel

We are situated right near the Baroda Express Highway road, over in the Jashodanagar area. Being so close to the CTM highway means we get a lot of people who are just passing through on their way somewhere else. It’s a noisy spot because of all the trucks and cars zooming by, but that’s just how it is here. The hotel is a simple building. We don't have those big glass lobbies or fancy uniforms. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers keeping the rooms tidy and making sure everything works like it should. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, and we have to fix it ourselves right then and there. It’s a lot of work keeping up with people coming in at all hours of the night. Jashodanagar is a busy part of town, and we’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while. We don't do any big promotions. Most of our guests find us because they’re tired from driving and need a place to stop. We try to keep the tea hot and the rooms as quiet as possible given the highway location. It’s not a luxury stay, just a practical place for people who need a bed. We’re usually around the front desk if anyone needs anything, though we might be in the back cleaning if it’s a slow afternoon.
