Our office is located on the first floor of the Thobhan Complex. It’s right on the National Highway, so you can hear the big trucks and buses rumbling past all day long. We deal with packages and mail mostly. People come up the stairs with their boxes, and we weigh them and get the paperwork sorted out. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The office isn't very big, and when we have a lot of deliveries, there are parcels stacked up almost to the ceiling. We have a small team of people here. Some handle the counter and others deal with the drivers who come to pick everything up. It gets pretty frantic in the evenings when the last trucks are leaving. The stairs are a bit narrow, which makes it tricky if you are carrying something heavy. We have a few fans going, but it still gets warm in the summer. We don't have a fancy waiting area or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get things sent out. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the people around the highway know us. We just try to keep the boxes moving and make sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle. It is a lot of routine work, but it keeps us on our toes every day.
