Cambay Spa & Resort

You can find Cambay Spa & Resort over at Plot No N/ 18 in Gandhinagar. It is a big place compared to the offices around it. We spend a lot of time walking from one end to the other. There is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a deep clean. The Gujarat sun can be pretty harsh on the outdoor areas so we are constantly watering the plants. My job involves a lot of checking lists and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. It isn't always relaxing for us even if it is for the guests. We have a lot of staff who live in the housing nearby. The resort has been around for a while and has seen a lot of changes. Sometimes the lobby gets really crowded during check-in time. We try to keep the atmosphere calm but it can be a bit of a scramble. It’s a nice enough spot with plenty of trees around the perimeter. We don't use a lot of big words to describe it. It is just a resort where people can stay and eat. We keep the gates open and the lights on. It takes a lot of work to keep the place running.
