Cambay Spa & Resort

We work out of D 801 Aggarwal Apartments over in the Anand Nagar area of Satellite. It’s more of a residential spot than you’d expect for a place like Cambay Spa & Resort, but this is where the planning happens. We deal with all the daily chores of running a resort from here in Ahmedabad. There’s always someone on the phone asking about room rates or spa packages. We try to keep things organized, but the desk usually has stacks of paper on it by Tuesday. Satellite is a busy part of town, so there’s always noise coming in from the street while we’re trying to work. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just basic coordination and making sure the staff at the resort have what they need to do their jobs. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up reports or talk to vendors who are late with their deliveries. It’s a lot of small details that most people wouldn’t think about. We don't have any grand statements to make. We just want to make sure the rooms are ready when people show up. It's a practical way of working. Most of us have been in this neighborhood for years, so we know the local shops and the best places to grab a quick lunch during our break. It’s just a regular office life for us, surrounded by apartment buildings and the usual Ahmedabad hustle that never really stops.
