We are set up in the Yogi Complex, specifically unit B-82, right on Mahendra Mill Road in Kalol. The road gets a lot of trucks and industrial traffic because of the old mills nearby, so there is usually a bit of a rumble in the air. Bhoomi Medicals And Surgicals is where we spend most of our waking hours. We handle a mix of regular medicines and some surgical items too, so the shelves look a bit different than a standard pharmacy. You’ll see rolls of gauze and different types of tape sitting alongside the cough syrups. The shop floor is tiled and we try to keep it swept, but with the dust from the road, it’s a never-ending task. Kalol is a busy town and being on this specific road means we get a lot of people stopping in on their way to work. We have a small counter where we do all the transactions. Sometimes the computer is a bit slow, so customers have to wait a minute while we get the receipt printed. It’s just the way it is. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a practical place for people to get what they need for their health. We’ve got a small back room where we store the bigger surgical kits and extra stock. It’s a lot to manage, but we’ve got a routine down now. We just open the doors every morning and see what the day brings.
