Bharat Traders (Madhupura)

We are based at New Madhupura Chowk in Madhupura. Most days start pretty early here because the market gets busy fast. You can hear the trucks backing up and the workers shouting to get things moved before the sun gets too hot. Our shop, Bharat Traders, has been around this part of Madhupura for quite a while now. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a place where we get the work done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we usually have too many bags and crates piled up to even get to them. People come by all day asking about prices or looking for specific items we stock. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just writing things down in our registers. There is a tea stall nearby that brings us glasses of chai a few times a day, which helps when things get stressful. Sometimes the traffic at the chowk gets so backed up that nothing moves for an hour, so we just sit out front and talk to the other shop owners. It’s a lot of manual work and checking lists over and over. We don't really have a big website or a social media person, we just do our business face to face or over a quick call. It’s dusty and noisy, but that’s just how it is here in Madhupura. We know most of the regulars by name and they know where to find us.
