Bharat Technologies Auto Components Ltd. is over at 31A in the Ambattur Indl. Estate. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly factories and workshops. That is exactly what we are. We make parts for cars and other vehicles. The floor is usually covered in some kind of metal shavings or oil, no matter how much we sweep. It’s a busy place. We have machines running most of the day. The guys on the shop floor have been doing this for years. We aren't a corporate office with suits. Most of us are in work clothes because things get dirty. We just focus on making sure the components are the right size and shape. It’s repetitive work but it has to be done right. The office is just a small room off to the side where we keep the records. We’ve been at this Ambattur address for quite a long time now. We know the other business owners on the street. Sometimes we help each other out with tools or supplies. It’s a community of makers. We don't have any big mission statements. We just make the parts people order. That is the whole story. If the machines are humming, we are happy. It’s just how we operate.
