Gooly Chem

Gooly Chem is located over on Suez Farm Road in Behrampura, right opposite the Grid Station. Ahmedabad can get really hot, and this area is no exception during the summer months. We deal with various chemicals and stuff for industrial use. The warehouse is a big, open space that stays a bit cooler than the outside, thank goodness for that. We have drums and containers stacked up, and there’s always a bit of a scent in the air from the products we handle. The road outside can get a bit bumpy, especially after the rain starts. We see a lot of trucks coming in from the main parts of the city every day. It’s a hardworking neighborhood with a lot of other businesses doing similar things. We don't have any polished sales pitches or anything like that. If someone needs a specific chemical, they come by or call us up. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure everything is stored exactly where it belongs. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving things around with the manual pallet jack. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up on the desk, but we usually catch up by Friday afternoon. It’s a simple operation, run by people who have been in the chemical trade for a long time. We just keep our heads down and get the orders ready for whoever needs them. It's a steady grind and we don't mind it much.
