Our place is over at 17/199 in Adarsh Nagar, which is in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. It is a solid, everyday neighborhood in Gujarat, and Bechtel India Pvt Ltd fits right in. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a while now. It’s not a high-rise office building with glass walls. Instead, it’s a more traditional space where we can just sit down and get things done. The rooms are a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is here at once, but we make it work. We spend our days dealing with various projects and keeping track of all the details that come our way. It isn't always exciting, but it is necessary work. We aren't big on titles or fancy ways of doing things. If something needs fixing, whoever is closest just handles it. That’s just the atmosphere we have here in Ahmedabad. We like to keep our feet on the ground. Most of us have been working together for years, so we know each other's habits pretty well. We have our routine—start the day, drink some tea, work through the list, and then head home. There’s no big secret to how we operate. We just stay consistent and try to be fair with everyone we deal with. It’s a simple life and a simple business, and that is exactly how we want it to stay for as long as we can.
