Bata Store

You can find us in the Sushma Complex right on Rakhial Road in Bapu Nagar. It’s a busy spot near Satyanarayan Nagar, and being close to NH No. 8 means there is always a lot of traffic passing by. Our Bata Store is a place where families come to get their shoes for the year. We have rows of shelves filled with everything from school shoes to flip-flops. The store isn't extremely large, so we have to use every bit of space to show the different styles. There is usually a bit of a smell of rubber and leather when you first walk in. We spend a lot of time helping people find the right size, which can be tricky when the shop gets full on the weekends. The floor is just regular tile and we have some benches for people to sit on while they try things on. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles a bit when it's really hot outside, but we try to keep it comfortable. We don't have any fancy sales tactics or loud music playing. We just wait for customers to come in, say hello, and help them find what they are looking for. It's a typical neighborhood shop where we see the same faces every few months. We keep things tidy, but there are always a few boxes lying around that need to be put away in the back.
