Balwas Hotel

Our hotel is on Relief Road, right across from the old Relief Cinema. It is a very busy part of Ahmedabad. If you know the area, you know how much noise and energy there is around here. We are near the Electricity House, so it is a landmark most locals recognize easily. The building is at 6751 and we have been here through many changes in the city. Relief Road is famous for shopping, so we get a lot of travelers and businessmen staying with us. It is not a luxury hotel with a swimming pool or anything like that. It is a practical place for people who need a room in the center of the market. We have rooms that are clean and basic. The staff knows the city well, so they can tell you where to find the best tea or how to get to the station. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud you can hear the horns from the lobby, but that is just life on Relief Road. We do not have a big corporate structure. It is just us managing the day-to-day work and making sure everything is in order. People come back to stay with us because they know what to expect and they like the convenience of being near the main market. It is an old place with a lot of character, sitting right in the heart of the hustle and bustle.
