Bakul Jani

I’m Bakul Jani and my place is at 53 Swami Gunatit Nagar Society. This is in the Memnagar area of Ahmedabad. I’ve been here for a long time, so the neighbors all know my face by now. It is a decent society to be in, fairly quiet except when there is a festival or some wedding going on nearby. I do my work from here instead of renting a separate office in the city center. It saves me the commute and I can stay close to my family. My setup is pretty basic. I have a desk, an old chair, and all the tools I need for my daily tasks. I don't have a staff or anyone working under me. It is a one-man show most days. Ahmedabad can get really hot in the summer, so I usually start my work early to beat the heat before it gets unbearable. I don't have any flashy advertisements or anything like that. Most people who know about me found out through word of mouth or just by being around the neighborhood for years. I like the independence of working this way. It means I can take things at my own pace and focus on what actually matters instead of worrying about corporate rules or dressing up for a boss.
