Our place is located in Nidhi Apartments, specifically at 17/178 in the Naranpura area of Ahmedabad. It is right in the middle of Gujarat. Naranpura is a busy neighborhood, always something going on in the streets. The apartment complex is older, with kids playing in the common areas and neighbors chatting on their balconies. We are on one of the upper floors, so you get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open, which is nice because Ahmedabad gets incredibly hot in the summer months. The address is 380 013 for those who need the pin code. Inside, it looks like a typical office set up in a residential building. We have a few computers and some filing cabinets that are getting a bit too full. We do not really have a big sign outside, so you have to look for the building name and then find our door number. It is a bit of a climb if you do not want to wait for the lift, but we are used to it by now. The tea guy around the corner knows our order by heart. It is just a small group of us here, keeping things moving every day. We do not go for the whole corporate look. We just wear what is comfortable and focus on the tasks at hand. It is a practical way to run things in a city like this. We just handle the day-to-day things as they come.
