Athishta Architect

Athishta Architect is up on the 4th floor of Pratyksha Apartments. We are right by the Akhbara Nagar Circle in New Vadaj. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, especially near Gopy Chowk where the traffic picks up. Being up on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the area, though we are usually too busy looking at drawings and plans to notice it much. The office is full of rolls of paper, pens, and computer screens everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but that’s just how architects work, I think, with ideas flying around. We are a small group of people who just like to build things and figure out how they go together. We don't have a big reception desk or someone in a suit greeting you at the door. You just walk in and we’re right there at our desks working. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We spend a lot of time talking through different ideas and trying to make them work on paper before anything starts. New Vadaj is a decent place to be based, with plenty of life and shops around us. We aren't interested in being a big corporate firm. We just want to do decent work and keep our clients happy. It’s a straightforward office for people who actually like what they do every day without all the unnecessary bells and whistles.
