Asian Media & Marketing Group

Our office for Asian Media & Marketing Group is in Madhuvan Appt over in Bodakdev, Ahmedabad. It’s on the third floor. Bodakdev is a nice part of the city, but being in an apartment building makes the work feel a lot more grounded and less like a big company. You walk past people’s homes to get to our door. We’ve been here for a bit now, and the neighbors are used to us coming and going with our bags and papers. Inside, it looks like a converted flat. We’ve got some rooms set up for meetings and others for the marketing and media work we do. It’s not a huge space, so things can get a bit cluttered with all the magazines and samples lying around. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer. The kitchen area is where everyone congregates for lunch or a quick break. Ahmedabad can be extremely hot, so we usually have the curtains drawn to keep the sun out while we work. It’s a simple way of doing things. We don’t have a big HR department or a bunch of managers hovering around. We just know what our jobs are and we get them finished. It’s a friendly atmosphere, even when we’re busy. Sometimes we walk down to the local stalls for some snacks in the evening. It’s just a normal day at a normal office, keeping things moving without any big fuss or complicated rules. We stay busy.
