The Raymond Shop

We’re located at number 7 in the Ajanta Commercial Centre, which is on Ashram Road right near the Income Tax office. This part of town is usually pretty packed with traffic and people going to work. The Raymond Shop here is a straightforward place. We handle a lot of suits and fabric for shirts. It’s a lot of measuring and talking about cuts. The shop has been in the Ajanta Commercial Centre for a long time. It’s a solid building, though it’s seen better days. We aren't the kind of place that has a lot of flash. We just have rolls of cloth and a few mirrors. Our day usually starts with tidying up the racks from the day before. It’s a quiet routine. We don’t have a huge staff, just a few people who have been doing this for years. We know the regulars by name and we know what they usually like. Ashram Road can be noisy with all the horns, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We don’t really go in for big advertisements. Most people just know we’re here because we’ve been here so long. We try to be helpful without being pushy. It’s just a regular shop where you can get a decent suit made or buy some cloth. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird humming noise, but we’re used to it. We keep things pretty simple around here.
