We are over in Amraiwadi, at number 4 New Jain Milan Society. Our shop is quite close to the Sureliya Estate and sits along the Vastral Road. It is a bit of a mixed shop because we do both medical supplies and general provision items. This means we have people coming in for medicine but also for things like snacks or laundry soap. It is a very local neighborhood setup. We are right in the middle of a residential society, so we know almost everyone who walks through the door. It is not a big, shiny store. It is just a comfortable, small space where things are a bit crowded on the shelves. We don't spend money on advertising or making the place look corporate. We just open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. The road outside is always loud with traffic heading toward Vastral, but inside we just focus on our customers. Sometimes we have a little chat with the neighbors while we pack their items. It’s a very simple way of doing business. We aren't trying to expand or become a big brand. We are just happy to be the local shop where people can find what they need for their homes and their health. It is a modest life, but it keeps us busy and connected to the people around us.
