Apna Medical And Provision Stores is located at D 31 33 in the Yogi Complex on Mahendra Mill Road. It’s a decent-sized space for us, and we’ve filled it with all sorts of things. We have the medical section for health needs and then the provision side for groceries and household items. Working on Mahendra Mill Road, you see a lot of the local work life. We opened this place because we saw that people in the Yogi Complex and the surrounding buildings needed a convenient spot to shop. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us and the shelves. Sometimes we have to climb up high to get something a customer wants, or move around big sacks of flour. It’s physical work and it keeps us on our feet all day. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes when the new stock arrives, the aisles get a bit cramped for a few hours. We don't bother with corporate talk. We just tell you what we have and how much it costs. People appreciate the honesty and the fact that we are always here. Whether it is a rainy day or a hot afternoon, the shutters go up at the same time every morning. We are just part of the local furniture now, and we plan to stay that way. The lights flicker sometimes, but we haven't gotten around to calling the electrician yet. It's just home for us.
