If you head down to Phase-IV of the GIDC in Vatva, you’ll find us at Plot Number 4803. Angiplast is basically a manufacturing site. It’s a big, busy area filled with factories, and ours is no different. We spend our days dealing with plastic components, mostly for medical use. The factory floor is always moving. There are machines running, people checking quality, and workers packing boxes for shipping. It’s not a quiet place, and it’s definitely not a polished office environment. It gets quite warm in Vatva, especially during the afternoons, but the fans keep things moving. We have a lot of stuff to keep track of—raw materials coming in and finished goods going out. We don’t really do the whole corporate branding thing. Most of our focus is just on the production lines and making sure the machines don’t break down in the middle of a shift. We have a small office section for the admin work, but even there, it’s mostly just files and inventory logs. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. It’s a lot of routine, but when you’re making things that hospitals use, you have to be careful. We’ve been in this plot for a long time and we’ve seen the industrial estate change over the years. It’s a tough environment but it’s where we belong.
