Alka Hotel

Alka Hotel has been sitting on the second floor of Shreenath Chamber for quite some time now. We are right near the GPO on Mirzapur Road. It’s a central spot in Ahmedabad, so it’s easy to get to, though the traffic outside can be a real headache sometimes. We have rooms for people staying over and a place to eat too. The building is an older one, which gives it a certain feel. We don't have those glass elevators or shiny lobbies you see in the new places. It's just a straightforward hotel. Most of our guests are people traveling for work or families looking for a place to stay near the city center. We keep the rooms tidy and make sure the fans and lights work. The staff here has been with us for years. We know the neighbors and the shopkeepers around Mirzapur. If you need to find us, just look for the Shreenath Chamber building. We aren't trying to pretend we are a five-star resort. We provide a bed, a roof, and some food. It’s a practical business for a practical part of town. Sometimes the hallways are quiet, and sometimes it's full of travelers talking. We just take it as it comes. It's a lot of climbing stairs if the power goes out, but that’s life in an old city area. We just keep things running as best as we can.
