Aksha Medical And Provision

In the middle of Juhapura, at the Navab Plaza Shopping Centre, you will find our shop, Aksha Medical And Provision. We are at number 13, right on Sarkhej Road. It’s a lively neighborhood, and the shop reflects that. We carry a bit of everything, which means the shelves are always overflowing. One side is all the medical stuff, and the other side has daily provisions like soaps and pulses. It’s a bit of a juggle keeping it all sorted. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. I often find myself chatting with the regulars about the traffic on Sarkhej Road or how the weather is changing. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every inch of space, even stacking things on top of the cupboards. There is a small window at the back that lets in a little breeze, but mostly it’s just the hum of the fridge and the sound of the cars outside. Sometimes the kids from the plaza come in looking for small treats, and I have to remind them we are mostly a pharmacy. It’s a simple business, really. We open up early, stay late enough for the office workers, and try to make sure we have the common things people ask for. It’s a lot of standing around, but that is just the nature of the job.
