Ajanta Hosiery Centre

You can find us over at 61 Ajanta Commercial Centre, right on Ashram Road where it usually stays pretty crowded with traffic and people walking by. We have been in this spot for a good number of years now, selling all kinds of hosiery items from this shop. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside sometimes because we try to keep a lot of stock on the shelves so people can find what they are looking for without much trouble. We don't have those big bright displays like the malls do, just the regular wooden counters and stacks of boxes piled up. Usually, one of us is behind the counter ready to help whoever walks through the door, whether they want something specific or are just browsing. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is nice when the sun is really beating down on Ashram Road. We have regular customers who have been coming to us since we first opened, and it is nice to see a familiar face every now and then. Sometimes the shop gets a bit dusty because of all the fabric and the road outside, but we try to keep it tidy enough. It is just a regular local business, nothing more and nothing less. We spend our mornings unpacking new arrivals and the evenings tidying up the mess from the day. It’s a simple way to make a living.
