You can find us at D-204 in the Galaxy-88 building over in the Hanspura area. It’s one of those newer developments that’s popped up recently. Agrium Focus Farmer Development is basically just a few of us working out of this office space. We focus a lot on the side of things that helps the people actually growing the crops. It’s not always easy work, and there’s a lot of back-and-forth with different groups. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks and a place to sit and talk. We aren't into the whole high-end corporate style. We prefer to keep things grounded and practical. Hanspura is a bit out of the way for some, but it’s where we’ve set up shop and it works for us. Most days are spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets to see how things are progressing in the fields. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just try to help out where we can and make sure the farmers we work with are getting what they need. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up over the week. Sometimes it feels like we’re just treading water, but then something clicks and it’s all worth it. We’re just a regular group of people trying to make a living and do something useful at the same time. No big bells or whistles here, just the daily routine.
