Adm Agro Industries India Pvt. Ltd. is situated right near the Ramji Mandir in the Sabarmati area of Ahmedabad. This is an industrial spot, so the environment is very practical and no-nonsense. We deal with agricultural products, which means our facility is often filled with the smell of grains and the sound of processing machinery. It is a large, open space that stays pretty hot during the summer months. We don't have a plush office with air conditioning for everyone. Most of our staff are out on the floor, moving bags or checking the equipment. It is physical work and it can be quite dirty by the end of the shift. We have been operating here for a long time and we are familiar with the rhythm of the trucks coming in to load and unload. We focus on getting the agro goods processed and out to where they need to go. There is no corporate polish here. We wear work clothes and we talk directly about what needs to be done each morning. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them ourselves. It is just the way things are in this industry. We are a local employer and we take our work seriously, even if the office is just a small room with a desk and some old files. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing.
