Adani Agri Logistics (Dhamora) Limited shares the space at 56 Shrimali Society in Navrangpura. It’s the same Adani House building near the Mithakhali Six Roads. Being in this part of Ahmedabad means we are right in the middle of everything that goes on in the city. We focus on the logistics part of the agriculture sector, specifically for the Dhamora operations. It’s mostly office work here. We spend our hours looking at schedules and making sure transport is lined up for the coming weeks. It’s not very exciting stuff, but it’s necessary for the whole system to work. The building has been here for a long time and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the traffic. People come in for meetings, and we talk about silos and transport routes across the state. It gets a bit cramped in here when everyone is in the office at once. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the stuff gets from the farm to the storage units. It’s a lot of coordination with different people. Sometimes the computers act up or the phones won't stop ringing, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big speeches or polished presentations. We just want the trucks to arrive on time. It’s a practical job for practical people.
