Our office is at B/10 in Swastik Park Society. It’s located near the Judges Bungalows on Bodakdev Main Road. This part of Ahmedabad is a bit nicer than the old city, but it’s still getting busier every year. We are in a residential-style building that we use for our project work. It feels more like a house than a cold corporate office, which is how we like it. We have a few rooms set up with desks and drawing boards where we plan out our projects. There is a small garden area outside that we try to keep green, though the heat makes it difficult in the summer. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and talking to contractors on the site. There’s always a stack of site reports and permit papers sitting on the main table. We don't really have a formal dress code here; most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a day of work. Lunch is usually a shared affair in the small kitchen area. We discuss the progress of different sites and what needs to be ordered for the next week. The road outside can get noisy during rush hour, but generally, it’s a fairly quiet place to work. We’ve been in this society for a while now and the neighbors know us. It’s a straightforward setup where we just try to keep our projects moving along without too much fuss.
